About: The Orca Institute has been preparing students to launch careers as Counselling Hypnotherapists since 1986 and was accredited by PCTIA in 2006 and is now Designated by PTIB (Private Training Institutions Branch). As the longest running Hypnotherapy school in Canada we have more experience than almost anyone involved in hypnotherapy training to offer you the best possible learning experience. Our training is structured for those students who want more than a typical “short course” to learn hypnosis but rather have a strong desire to be professionally qualified Counselling Hypnotherapists. Our courses are structured to satisfy our students varied schedules. Our students have come from as far away as Australia, the UK, France and throughout the US taking our hypnotherapy training courses through our virtual classroom. In addition to covering the works and methods of Milton Erickson, M.D., Stephen Gilligan, PhD. Serge King, PhD and others, our training uniquely includes innovative approaches developed from over 30 years of professional experience.
